            "I am the door,
            if anyone enters by me,
            he will be saved..."
            John 10:9.

      Jesus said,
"I am the door; if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved..."

      (John 10:9)

      The Bible says,
"for whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved."
      (Romans 10:13)

      and,
"But what does it say? ... that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
      (Romans 10:8, 9)

Next Steps after praying the salvation prayer:

      • We encourage a new Christian to read the bible on a daily basis.

Jesus made this statement, showing how important it was in His eyes, that His followers should read scripture...

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Our suggested first readings are from...

1Timothy - encouraging reading for younger Christians

John's Gospel - explains what Jesus was really like and also what He was trying to get across to the people.

1John ( an epistle or letter John wrote later on) - nice and short for a first reading,

1Corinthians (an epistle or letter written by Paul), because it demonstrates how much God loves us.

      • Recognising that a new Christian is not likely to have access to a bible at home, we would like to explain that you can start with a free bible that you can download from on-line without it costing.

Here is one of those... and there are others which we will look for and put on this page when we find them. We know of a couple, but the links don't seem to be working right now.

This particular one has just two English language translations - both of which have no copyright on them, and the guy who wrote the program did so without expecting any money for it.

You can get it from http://www.freebible.com

At least you can can read it while your computer is switched on :)

Here is another downloadable bible... this time from Europe, called "Theophilos"

        http://www.theophilos.sk
is their home page which is worth reading, and

        http://www.theophilos.sk/download.htm
is where you can download the program, various translations into other languages, and other bits and pieces

There are several on-line bibles you can access, but you have to be connected to the internet while using them.

      • Equally importantly, we encourage a new Christian to become part of a church for encouragement, fellowship, growth in Jesus Christ, guidance in their walk with Christ.

We are looking for urls that list churches from all over the world. As we find them, we shall add them to this page and also the page of "links" on this website

Here are some church locations worldwide

      • You may want to send us an email

If we knew the area where you live, that could help us try to find a church for you.

We could then write back to you with that information.

You may have questions you would like answered.

Everything you write will be in strict confidence.
